The work is part of the project 'The Object's Shadow' which investigates the emerging aesthetics of depression that is gaining increasing prominence globally in contemporary art practice. The work is psychoanalytically informed and the images arise from prolonged and sustained periods of looking that speaks of intense solitude and reverie and the bodily experience of visuality.
